Anna Silk is a Fredericton native and the child of Peter Silk, who was an academic. Her mother, Ilkay Silk, had many talents, including being able to direct, act and produce plays, as well as write them as well as teach and serve as director of drama at St. Thomas University. Anna Silk was the daughter of both a British father as well as an English-Turkish Cypriot mother. Anna appeared in several advertisements in her youth. Anna moved in Toronto in order to help her acting grow. Later, the actress relocated Los Angeles. Seth Cooperman was introduced to Anna in Los Angeles at an acting workshop in 2007. They got engaged in 2009.
