Ashley was born in London, England on the night of December 6th in 1981. Ashley Madekwe has a variety of credits including her role as a character in Secret Diary of a Call Girl on ITV2, the social climber Ashley Davenport, and witch Tituba, in Salem the WGN America drama. Madekwe comes from a mixed-race family located in South London. Her mother is English and her father Nigerian. She was born on a South London council estate, and at the age of fourteen, she attended The Brit School. In London, she studied at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art where her acting degree was obtained. She was on stage in numerous productions during her time at school such as King Henry V, as Princess Katherine, and Wuthering Heights, as Catherine Earnshaw. Madekwe started her acting career by appearing in a movie titled Storm Damage. In the years since, she's had guest appearances for Teachers, Doctors Casualty Drop Dead Gorgeous. Madekwe's breakthrough came in 2007's Woody Allen movie Cassandra's Dream. It was opposite Colin Farrell (who played the role of Cassandra) as well as Ewan McGrath. Then, she played Elisha, a BBC Three pilot drama, in West 10 LDN. In the same time, she starred as Ollie in six episodes each from Trexx, Flipside, and Flipside. In 2008, she was offered the part in the role of Bambi in the ITV2 show drama Secret Diary of a Call Girl, appearing in episodes two and three. Madekwe played a prominent role in 2008's hilarious comedy How to Alienate and Lose Friends. The credits on stage for Madekwe are Little Sweet Thing and Flight Path.
Madekwe was the actress who played Ashley Davenport for ABC's drama The Beautiful Life. The two-episode show aired only two episodes before it was cancelled. Ashley Davenport appeared in ABC's Revenge in the role of Ashley Davenport. After being a regular for the first two seasons the show was announced late May 2013 that Madekwe was set to quit the show following a guest appearance in the premiere episode in the season's third. From 2014 until 2016, Madekwe starred in Salem in the role of Tituba.
Madekwe and her actor partner Iddo have been married since June of 2012. They both appeared on Secret Diary of a Call Girl. They also played as a couple in Salem.

Ashley Mae Sebera (better known as Dana Brooke) is a professional wrestler that competes with World Wrestling Entertainment. She attended Kent State University (KSU) and graduated in 2011, with a bachelor's degree in fashion, merchandising and design, and a second diploma in business administration. Sebera was a participant in many athletics before returning to gymnastics. Sebera's ankles had been severely damaged following her gymnastics career for over 18 years. Then, she was forced to quit. Sebera began to train as an athlete in bodybuilding and fitness. Sebera was awarded her professional certificate by the International Federation of BodyBuilding & Fitness in 2012, after she had won National Physique Committee contests between 2010 to 2011. Sebera signed on to a WWE contract in 2013. She was able to make her WWE debut on the WWE as Dana Brooke. She trained for 3 years as well as appearing on shows on WWE NXT before making her debut on the main roster in the RAW on Monday Night RAW in 2016. Sebera is still active in her bodybuilding career outside of pro wrestling. Sebera returned to at the end of 2017's Arnold's Classic in the fitness category.

Ashley Martelle's most notable works are Best Friend (2023) and Tales (2017).
